I think Itachi will get blind before he might finish off Sasuke.
And Sasuke won't finish him off when he's blind for he will feel likw it's not worth it.

Alright so we all should know by now that both of the brothers will not die, Sasuke is going to get saved or be able to dodge using some sort of special ability but thats it match over. If someone is going to save Sasuke who do you think its going to be, the Konoha ninjas, or his Snake team?
Wow this is an awesome chapter, definate rate it on the scale of Lee vs Gara fight. Itachi prob. new his brother was lightning from their childhood and must have prepared for such an event.
I think it's time for one of Naruto's clones to step in to save Sasuke.

I think we should have all expected this. I mean, the legend of the three god in Japanese folklore was Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Sasano.
Tsukuyomi was Itachis strongest Genjutsu
Amaterasu was Itachis strongest Ninjutsu.
What does that leave? Sasano. What could it be? Most likely a Taijutsu
But as you can see, one of Itachis eye is already fully blind, it will be hard for him to fight with one blind eye.
Oh and people asked how Itachi still stood up, he had a special armor.
Sasuke still has his fresh sharingans, itachis eyes are 95+2 percent deteriorated. And this is Itachis last move, so if this fails, he would get killed. Im sure Sasuke would get beat up, but kishi wont make him killed. Either something happens to Itachi like he stops fighting after beating up sasuke halfway, or sasuke evades it somehow. Since Sasuke has no chakra left, so i doubt he'll escape, but he still has his curse seal, which may help him. I really dont know, but im sure that in the end, Sasuke will still be alive.

Naruto would be screwed, his kage bunshin is effectively useless against Sasuke in dodging attacks.

I suppose he could hit it with his wind rasengan, but he'd have to somehow envelope himself in it.
It's more likely that he'd disrupt the air pressure using his wind technique.
That would stop Sasuke being able to use the attack.

Well, I had a feeling he wouldn't die. After all, those Uchiha's never seem to run out of chakra even when they say that they have none left! They can always seem to pull off one super technique of another. I'm getting kinda bored. I'm more intrested in the Konoha Vs. Tobi and Suigetsu vs. Kisame fights. I want to see what's happening there! I'm starting to hope this finishes soon. I dislike both of them so I really could care less who wins now. Just my personal opinion though.
hey guys long time no see finnally saw this fight and reading previous comments getting pissed of a bit cause of some comments but that aside i'm extremely happy of this fight and in the end you guys notice that itachi actually only went for sasukes eye in tsyukomi? i have a doubt i know people will get pissed of at my comment i hope not but is itachi still trying to actually to get sasukes eyes? i still wonder if there is some good in him or he just wants sasuke to get stronger or is itachi a bit good in the end? also i had a doubt of something maybe since theres 2 types of mangekyou sharingan as weve seen maybe then that means while the one itachi has has the one madara has is the evil version and makes you go blind then the other one make the carrier good and has also the same abilities so maybe itachi is bad only because of the type of mangekyou sharingan he has. who knows and i think that this fight will end in the end with both of them dead tired and narutos team getting sasuke with them also what the hell happened to them last weve known of anybody is that team naruto met tobi and team hebi met kisame and they to were gonna fight the only thing i dislike about this is were going to have all 3 fights (including this one) meaning that well see them come across eachother or mix and time will get lost well whatever just forget it lets enjoy i was about to kill kishi but he made the stuff interesting again and my informer is still there but has not been able to get anymore information at the moment so hold on see ya later guys sorry for the long post was at vacations so just caught up.

Think about it:
If he loses, that wont make sense, since itachi will die after he wins, meaning that sasuke wont be able to complete his revenge and move on to his next goal to kill madara and the story would just be stuck, and wouldnt make sense in the plot.
Also, Sasuke still has his curse seal. Sasano is most likely taijutsu, Itachi has a blind eye, and his body is critically damaged. Sasuke can evade it since he is still in curse seal. Im not saying he wont get hit by Sasano, obviously he will, but he will survive it somehow, and in the end, he'll be the last one standing in this fight.

ITACHI AIN'T DEAD, HE JUST TOOK A COUPLE SHOTS!! That was just awesome! I had to read it like four times before I stop laughing. Itachi!!! Sike naw, but seriously, TO MARTIN: Itachi went after Sasuke's eyes again after he hit him with the Amaterasu, so I think that he still wants em. Yes Susanoo was expected, but I didn't think they'd show that and Amaterasu in the same fight. Wait Gameboy, how do you know Itachi is blind in his right eye already? Oh and it would be tight if Naruto saved Sasuke, but I doubt it. Anyone else notice that Sasuke's left eye in cursed seal form became more like Orochimaru's during this fight?! I think Orochimaru is still living on through Kabuto, and Sasuke is becoming more and more under his control (remember when they said the more you use the seal the more you become under oro's control?).
Plus Sasuke has been using the cursed seal far too much recently. Multiple times during every fight. Oro got him!

I'm not sure if that frame with Sasuke's eye looking like Orochimaru is taking over is ment to be that way or if it just wasn't darkened in by the cleaner's when they scanlated it.

but the thing that makes no sense if ppl knows /knew over 1000 jutsu[the 3rd,orochi ect.] why wouldnt they use diff ones like shadow possesion,mind replacement, ect. the 3rd could have stopped orochi if he used shadow possesion..he could have stopped the other kagaes from comming out..i thin that atleast..but the 3rd was beast!
I Agree With John Lawrence... Itachi was looking straight at Sasuke... I think that the white eye is the sign for not being able to use it for a while...
And for those who never found out how Sasuke used a Big-Ass Lightning Kirin(from Monster Hunter Freedom) without using large amount of Chakra, He simple controlled the lightning produced by the clouds(which he created with his fire dragon technique)...
WOW that was frkn HOT! The big thunder dragon thing was so awesome. Sasuke's justu kick @$$ man. The one thing i dont like is the whole orochimaru eye thing. i swear if sasuke starts spitting himself out of his own body itll just get really weird. That and it would suck if he had to change bodies every 3 years cause itll be deja vu all over again. I also think it sucks how Sasuke cant just regenerate his wings when he goes into Level 2.
Compared to Tthat last jutsu Sasuke used, Naruto's Wind Style: Spiraling Shuriken doesnt stand a chance. Now that i have seen Sasuke use his ultimate jutsu, i wanna see Naruto use his, wich will probably be something with the fox power. I dont think it could be a gynormous rasengan like jiraiya used, cause the Oodama Rasengan alone wears him out so much.
Anyway, the battle ends next chapter!!!

I've mentioned it before that itachi had a plan to survive his this battle. Like i said suske got stronger but he hasn't reached itachi level and itachi will get an eye from suske. we will see the next balltel.

This fight is so sweet! It's awesome!! But for the people that think Naruto/Team Hebi is going to save Sasuke, its very unlikely. Sasuke is definetly going to undo a clever plan (even without his chakra) and get out of this himself. I don't think he's going to recieve much help in this fight.
This doesn't look too good for Naruto or anyone one else that wants to bring Sasuke back. I mean, if he could pull off a super kick-ass attack without even using any chakra, he took use it numerous times! That techneque is almost unbeatable, since it doesn't drain energy. (Nature itself gives the energy). I'd say the only way to stop the attack is preventing it from happening. (Such as, changing the air density so that it won't rain.)

i think that sasuke and the madara got the same jutsu.that jutsu was boring, it was just a chidro charged by the clouds.

Naruto really is made to beat Sasuke. Then again, Temari could probably do a better job than Naruto right now.

Oh Madara doesn't seem to be interested in the rinnegan, He's just using pain to accomplish the akatsuki goals more quicker, I'm thinking he'd hang on to the "Everlasting Mangekyou sharingan" Instead of the rinnegan, I'm sure he knows all the secrets to the rinnegan since he's been living for a while lol.

For the first time ever, I, Midnight 13, the hardened Itachi fan, will tip my hat to Sasuke:Kirin is the single most amazing jutsu. It's quite ingenious in that he uses lightning bolts from heaven to fuel the attack, making its use independent of the user's chakra level. Amazing, Sasuke.
Now, on to serious business.

I'm really sorry, I hope you aren't offended but I know of you reputation as a brilliant Naruto theorist and when you bet against Itachi, I was heartbroken. I spent weeks trying to counter your alarmingly logical theory with one that I borrowed from Ya-Ha and t_james. It seemed that each week the odds were piled against my opinion and leaning towards yours but, today I think I've gotten the manga support I require- I mean, Sasuke has already used his trump card and now has nothing left but curse seal leel 2, while Itachi as the thrd legendary jutsu of the Mangekyou Sharingan, Susanoo.
I think that Itachi will win but not outright, he will only manage to take one of Sassuke's eyes before having to retreat. I feel tha this outcome makes perfect plot sense as:
1.) Susanoo has been revealed for the first time. This move will become a significant as it will be Madara's signature move (I believe that Tobi/Madara was able to summon lightning after Deidara's death using Susanoo). It really wouldn't make sense for the signature move of the ultimate villain to be unveiled at the climax of this fight, only to end in failure.
2.) Having Sasuke have only one sharingan and probably wearing his forehead protector angled over the empty socket would underline the similarity between Sasuke and Kakashi.
3.) If Sasuke leaves this battle on a high, there is no feasible opportunity for Kishimoto to have him return to Konoha. He would merely move on to attempt to beat Madara. Now, if beaten by Itachi and left for dead to be found by the Konoha 8, he would be taken back to the village and eventually reintegrated in Konoha. Also, I don't think that Sasuke will take on Madara by himself. Madara as the final villain and also as the one resposible for the fact that Naruto is parentless and the vessel of the Kyuubi and Sasuke has no family means that he is a common enemy to both of them. It would be the culmination of their friendship if they beat this powerful, common enemy together.
4.) We have not yet had an opportunity to see Madara engage in a battle that shows his full range, or even his face, for that matter. Just as Pein fought Jiraiya, a formidable opponent, and in so doing, displayed his skill to the readers, Madara will be made to fight Itachi. Itachi intends to kill Madara, while Jiraiya intended to kill Pein. A fight between Madara and Itachi would be the perfect opportunity for Kishi to reveal more of Madara. Besides, Madara himself feels that only one with the Mangekyou Sharingan can beat him, At the moment, Itachi is the only other person who has the Mangekyou. See, it all fits.
Finally, Itachi is just too damn cool to be beaten by Sasuke.

rinnegan is what gave birth to all ninjutsu. i think pein is the only one who can make the jutsu that atuski needs to destory the world. the madara got alot of fucking experience, the man been alive for a 100yr or even more.imagine how many moves he copied with his shiragan.the madara needs pein more then pein needs him.
plus the rinnegan got the power to destory the world or save it.jiraya lost so easily to pein and jiraya knows about the MS and still fears the rinnagan more.
i was waiting for a kick ass jutsu from sasuke and it turned out to be a gay fucking move. all i saw was a chidro in the shape of a dog oh something.

yea ur theory on how naruto can stop sasuke's kirin are pretty good..but when naruto figures out his second chakra element...what if its water? like when sasuke uses that fire dragon before he uses kirin naruto can cancel it out with a water dragon jutsu[kakashi will/can teach him it] therefore stopping it before it sasuke can even set it up.[but they would need to know sasuke's tre intentions of his fire drgon]and yea i just thought of it naruto was built to beat sasuke/help him.because he has fire..naruto has wind..he can increase sasuke's fire..and sasuke has lightning and naruto [if he gets it] water..they work together..they were a good team man...

i think that jutsu minato left naruto to complete will be that Flying Thunder God Technique. because at the moment sasuke's speed is just to much for naruto so maybe naruto will complete it so he can teleport without using any kunia
naruto will counter sasuke kiran move in the battle. also the fuuton resagan is half a jutsu. naruto always finishes his moves on the battle field. look at when he learned the resagan. he completed it when he fought kabuto.

They were made to work together. I'd bet the socks on my feet that one day something like that will happen. Naruto and Sasuke once again working together. what rinnegan didnt give birth to nintsu, Rikudo-sennin just happened to have it (rinnegan), But it didnt say anything about rinnegan giving birth to ninjutsu. About the Mangekyou sharingan vs Rinnegan, I think MS is much more useful in battles. That is why I think kishimoto decided to make the ultimate villain a uchiha Sharingan user.
to stevensr123: sasuke always looks faster then naruto but he realy isn't. look back at the chuunin exam sasuke had the same speed as rock lee but when naruto fought him at valley of the end they both had the same speed.i don't know where naruto gets his speed becuase he never trains in speed like rocklee and sasuke do.
kakashi doesnt count since he isnt a uchiha and his MS wears down pretty fast, he's not going to get anywhere with that

the thing that makes me mad is that even though he has trained with jiraiya what other jutsu has he learned. when he you think about it he has only showed us big ball rasengan. and its after he comes back from training he learns the wind shuriken.
i wanted him to learn some of jiraiya's toad jutsu and other jutsu come back with lots of powerfull jutsu
to cloud: so your saying Rikudo-sennin without the rinnagan he would still have made ninjutsu becuase i don't think so. i think it was have his knowledge and the other thanks to the rinnagan. also you don't even know what the rinnagan does so how can you know which one is better. what and see what the rinnagan does.
what the weakness of the shiragan is fight more then one person becuase if one is caught a genjutsu then the other one will free him. so far pein is not one person he has controll over six different people.but everyone of the six has specail powers of their own.

To stevensr123 - Naruto can't use the Kyuubi's chakra anymore, or at least enough to stop Kirin. If he did the Kyuubi would break through, like with Oro.

To stevensr123: when was the last time you saw naruto in a fight. against Kakuzu that time he had to test the fuuton resagan so there was no room for other jutsu's. also when he fought the clone itachi know body was showing of there best moves becuase if you look at it kakishi didn't even show his MS and naruto was to busy trying to break the genjutsu becuase that his weakness.every one should have a weakness a hero without one is just gay and unreal.
plus the four tail is what jiraya did for naruto and that was kick ass, seeing naruto turn four tails was the best part in the whole manga. That fight should have been longer between naruto and ori becuase it was kick ass untill that bitch sakura got involved.
sakura fucks up the whole manga, thanks to her naruto mada that gay promise and had to stop using four tail becuase she got hurt. why the fuck can't she die alread. it all her fault i didn't get to see a better fight at the valley of the end. if naruto was trying to kill as sasuke was trying to kill him it would have been way better.

ITACHI'S RETURN TO KONOHA
When Itachi first returned to Konoha to search for Naruto he was quick to make sure no one was hurt.
1. He took his time to stay hidden and even have a snack.
2. During his battle with Kakashi, Asuma and Kurenai, notice all of his attacks. He even tried to diffuse the situation before the battle. None are designed to kill, just to incapacitate. Kurenai was countered and even though Itachi pulled a knife Kurenai disabled him before the strike. Then he used taijutsu to beat her down. He aimed for Kakashi's legs with the suiton and made other jutsus more obvious to certain people (exploding clone). The only reason he used MS was because it was the fastest way to incapacitate the only real current threat. He probably could've killed him if he wanted. In the end he even deided to retreat.
3. When he met Naruto he made sure not to hurt him. He could have put him to sleep and carried him away before Jiraiya showed up, but no, he calmly asked him to join him. Also, he was quite sure to stand between Naruto and Kisame (Nut job). When Sasuke attacked he beat him to a pulp just to show Sasuke that he was still weak. To make him want to become much stronger.
RESCUE GAARA ARC: ITACHI VERSUS TEAM KAKASHI
Next time we see him is in the forest when Naruto and Co. are on the way to Gaaras Rescue.
1. Notice how even when he has Naruto in a Genjutsu he does nothing to truely hurt him. He tosses a Shuriken at him to scratch him...and did anyone else notice his illusion seemed to be designed to push Naruto. He played on his fear of losing his friends which may give Naruto a reason to get much stronger. Almost as if he is manipulting Sasuke AND Naruto.
2. He can perform jutsu that Kakashi can't keep up with, but he clearly uses visible hand signs when fighting Kakashi, giving him a chance to fight back.
3. This was also him only at 30% power and he truely was only supposed to stall them. If he was fighting for his life in his real body he could have easily taken out Chiyo, Sakura and maybe even Kakashi, taking Naruto in the End.
What Sasuke is doing is WAY more sinful than whatever itachi did. Keep defending your sasuke-kun.

As far as natural speed goes, naruto is only slightly slower then sasuke, as I have said before, the only thing sasuke has over naruto is his litle bit of extra speed, how ever naruto has more chackra and strength as well as stamina then sasuke. Even right now, in a fight to the death, if naruto was willing to kill, he would win, even if sasuke brakes out his lightning dragon jutsu naruto would still win, wind is stronger then lightning, as for sasukes fire jutsu, well naruto has already survived a point blank hit from it.

Heres the theory explaining why Taijutsu is effective against sharingan. Its explained through Gai, since he is a good example of a taijutsu user, Lee is still getting to his level.
It is my belief that Gai is the natural enemy of any Sharingan user, due to his monstrous speed. Let us analyse.

Gai's high speed taijutsu is what makes him one of the top 3 in the Narutoverse. Vs Itachi, I've shown why Gai is able to beat him, as high speed taijutsu is greater than the Sharingan. Vs Sasori, his ultimate 100 Puppet technique Aka Higi is rendered useless as a high speed combo shatters all the puppets in a matter of seconds. Vs Kakuzu, his five hearts are burst with lightning quick strikes of greater strength than Tsunade's. Vs Deidara, he kicks his head clean off. The same goes for Hidan, Konan and Pein. If Pein's resurrection body is destroyed, then the others can't be brought back. This renders 4 bodies dead. The only one who can survive for a while is Fat Pein, who absorbs attacks, so this simply becomes a full-contact taijutsu training session against a live person, something almost impossible to find. I believe the Fat Pein has a threshold of the damage he can absorb before he dies, because he was obviously defeated before being taken over by Pein. He has advantages over all of Akatsuki, except Kisame, who would use his immense chakra to defend himself with sheer force.
Sharingan is weaker than High Speed Taijutsu. As you have seen Lees high speed attacks from his gates, just imagine Itachis high speed taijutsu from sasano. It will be insanely quick.

What does that leave? Susano and taijutsu. It also fits in since

Well, this jutsu better be something amazing that Itachi doesn't need his eyes for cuz by the looks of it he's already gone completely blind. For those of you who want proof, take a look at Itachi's eyes in the last few pages of this chapter. They weren't the usual black color and the Sharingan definitely wasn't activated. His eyes look completely blank to me. And as for Sasuke not having any chakra, that's what the cursed seal is for. The cursed seal to Sasuke is like the Kyuubi to Naruto, just much less powerful. So now that Sasuke's fully activated the cursed seal, he'll have a bit of Chakra to work with. Anyway, Itachi is definitely going to be the one to die in this fight somehow, and then Sasuke's purpose will now be to go after Madara.
I just want to see what this new jutsu can do and then I want the plot to go back to Naruto. I'm still interested to see everything Jiraiya left behind before he died. He gave that toad a message and he left a scroll behind for Naruto. I hope Naruto actually does some serious training this time around to actually make his overall abilities stronger instead of just creating a jutsu that shatters his arm everytime he uses it.

Gameboy: On your Sasuke-used-Konoha Theory. I doubt a seven-year-old boy who had just lost his family even considered leaving his home village. I doubt he could have, since he didn’t come into his strength as freakishly early as Itachi. And Sasuke was willing to sacrifice himself for Naruto when they fought Haku. During the fight against Gaara, Sasuke tried to save Sakura and Naruto; he just didn’t have enough strength to do so. Sasuke wasn’t callous and manipulative from the start. I don’t think he ever tried to really use Konoha. When he got to the point when he wanted to kill Naruto and use people for power, he was already going to join Orochimaru. Something changed for the worse when Sasuke realized he wasn’t even close to beating Itachi, and then he got beaten by Naruto. Sasuke’s arrogant and his bloated ego wasn’t ready for such a beating. He decided he was going about things all wrong and left Konoha to use Orochimaru. I’m not saying Sasuke’s right, or defending him for leaving. I’m just saying it started later than you claimed. ^^
The Last Dragon: Sasuke didn’t do “nothing.” It’s not like he had video games or friends to occupy his time after joining Orochimaru. He spent all his time training, getting stronger, and learning new techniques. He worked his ass off.

When naruto uses the foxs chackra and or the fox's cloak, he becomes faster then both gai and rock lee, the sharengan with the 3 marks is able to read against them, the reason gau was able to put up a fight against itachi and kakashi wasn't is cause gai wasn't dumb enought to look into itachi's eyes, the key to beating a sharingan user isn't realy speed or taijutsu, it is not looking at there eyes. At least against itachi's cause itachi is a known genjutsu user.
The reason I say kyubi naruto is faster then lee, sasuke copyed lee and got pretty close to his speed, yet in the fight when naruto goes kyubi sasuke can't keep up or even see naruto's moves, meaning naruto's speed > rock lee's speed by a lot. Yet sasuke is able to to predict where naruto will be after he gets his 3rd 6... You see sasuke was still slower then kyubi naruto but he was able to predict where he was going to be, so basickly he is useing the force,

I think Sasano might be a water jutsu.
Well recent chapter just proved it and it looks like Kishimoto is still going a long with his Japanese mythology.
And Susano is the god of sea and storms, So far everything has been correct and accordingly. You can notice the similarities in Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi from Japanese mythology in Naruto Mythology.

This in fact proves that Susanoo is a water level jutsu. I don't know if its Nin/Tai/or Gen. The fact that those 'tubes' are translucent just proves it because water has no color and you can see things right through water.

right now sasuke is probably the strongest ninja in the manga besides tobi (madara?), pein, and tsunade so y wouldnt orochimaru want sasukes body and wat i ment by orochimaru helping sasuke is his abilities will kick in and in time sasuke will transform just like kabuto. Look at the mark on Sasukes eye it looks just like the Mark on Kabutos eye and kabuto started transforming so the same thing might happen to Sasuke.

this episode is so cool. my guess: sasuke will finally open his mangekyou sharingan. whether he like it or not. determination or anger will be the key. just a guess. i don't have a proof. killing someone close to you might not be just the only way in obtaining mangekyou sharingan. manga didn't said its the only way... from what i remember. and if it is already told that its the only way, it might be change in the future episodes to come. there must be another way. like kakashi! its still a mystery to me. grrr... imagine cursed seal w/ a mangekyou sharingan. kirin looks like a wolf to me

Where in my post did you see me say naruto will always use the foxs chackra? No where, I was useing it to show you a fault in your thery, mainly naruto is able to move faster then lee and gai and sasuke was still able to put up a fight and pretty much avoid naruto's every move, meaning that sence foxnaruto is faster then lee and gai and sasuke can keep of with foxnaruto then sasuke can beat lee and gai. The only reason taijutsu was or gai was effective against itachi is cause itachi is mainly genjutsu and guy was able to read his movements from looking at his feet. Taijutsu and his speed had nothing to do with it. If any of the others could have faought looking at feet only they would have been the same as gai was.
I think naruto should die becuase his job in the whole manga is to deliver the kyuubi to madara, that all his needed for.
plus if the madara can controll the kyuubi like a pet wouldn't that make naruto his bitch. oh well naruto was already sasuke bitch.
i don't think that sasuke and madara will fight becuase the madara is after the kyuubi and naruto job is to carry the kyuubi in is body and keep it away from evil peoples hands. plus if sasuke and madara fought it would just be a repeat of sasuke Vs itachi all over again.

sasuke taking over itachi body is the only way i think he can win and the only the manga can countinue being about him.
itachi payed the price by gaining power the evil way by losing his eyes and sasuke will turn into that fucked up white snake creature that ori was becuase that would be the price he has to pay for gaining power by evil ways.
plus sasuke is alread a freak, with hands as wing and snakes and the other wing. talk about freak and he calls ori a freak.is like a blind man saying to anther blind man that he can see better.
